PANGEA SOUND DESIGN COLLECTION

“Any sample you throw into the Abyss comes out sounding incredible.”

So Much Blood, Artist

NATIVE INSTRUMENTS X IN /

“Infinite Samples have built their reputation on crafting instruments that sound volatile, alive, and deeply cinematic. With Pangea and The Abyss, the team pushed analog synths and single-sample engines into new frontiers, giving composers tools that thrive on instability and motion. Their work has already found its way into blockbuster trailers like Dune: Part Two, but the bigger story is how these instruments turn imperfection into identity.” NI

The Abyss // ‘Sample Processing’ Specs:

——————————–

• Turn single samples into ‘multi-sampled’ sounding instruments with this cinematic powerhouse.

• Unique modulation properties (especially with its morphing Multi FX).

• Advanced Modulation – combining LFOs, Motion Engine and Multi Fx; create complex cinematic sounds and FX…processes that if done in a DAW would be time intensive to setup and complex to edit

• Instant Playability: Sample pitch detection and volume compensation. Includes Automatic or Manual root note selection options (with a display on Kontakt’s keyboard to show which root note is being manually selected) Essentially, drag a sample in and it’s ready to use in a recording

• Loop feature with crossfade smoothing (features graphical start and end selectors)

• Voice spread (make single samples into wide stereo patches)

• Drag a sample into the front end of the library or into the dedicated ‘sample processing’ page

• Sample start option

• Sample load and activity indicator

• Reverse for playing the sample backwards

• Time Stretch for maintaining the speed of the sample on different keys, and having the option to speed up or slow down the sample (works best when notes are played around the root note)

• New tech that enables a single sample to act and sound like a multi-sampled patch when playing across the keys

• All new XL size GUI

• Kontakt 7.10.1 (or higher)OSX: Intel Macs (i5 or higher): macOS 12 (or higher)Apple Silicon Macs (via Rosetta 2 & natively on ARM in Standalone or in hosts that support it): macOS 12, 13 or 14 (latest update)Windows: 10 or 11 (latest Service Pack), Intel Core i5 or equivalent CPUGraphics hardware support for Direct 3D 11.1 (Feature Level 11_0) or higher4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended for large Kontakt Instruments)
